Bites of Health champions the integration of lifestyle and culinary medicine in primary care, focusing on underserved and bilingual communities. With over 20 years of experience, our founder empowers individuals through culturally competent, evidence-based health education. We promote healthy living, particularly among Spanish-speaking populations, by reversing chronic diseases and enhancing overall well-being through engaging programs and resources.
My name is Dr. Claudia C. Guillen, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, RN, RMA. Bites of Health was born from resilience, healing, and faith - shaped by my journey from Venezuela to the United States, and my calling to serve through medicine, teaching, and food.
Through programs like La Comida Como Medicina (Food as Medicine), I integrate clinical practice, culinary medicine, and community education to empower Latino families and all communities seeking to improve health through food, faith, and culture toward whole-person wellness.
My mission is to unite faith, science, and culture to promote healing and hope in every community I serve.
